Effective date: April 2026 • Last updated: April 2026
This agreement governs participation in the 30-Second Video Challenge ("the Program"). By participating or submitting content, you agree to these terms.
❤️ Why this exists
We created this program to celebrate our community's creativity and invite you to help more people discover Connecting. The full legal terms below make everything clear — fair and safe for everyone.
Transparency guarantee
We believe in full transparency. Every time your video runs in our Meta ads, we'll share screenshots and reports directly from the Meta dashboard showing exactly how many sales were attributed and how your payment was calculated. Nothing hidden, nothing estimated.
1. Program overview
The Program invites participants to create and submit short video content featuring Connecting for potential use in our marketing campaigns. Participants may receive performance-based compensation as described below.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age. Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of submission.
2.2 Geographic eligibility. The Program is primarily open to US residents. International participants may be limited to cash payment only.
2.3 Right of refusal. The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual or entity, at its sole discretion.
3. Content submission and ownership
3.1 License grant. By submitting content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the content in any medium, forever, for marketing and commercial purposes.
3.2 Representations. You represent that: (a) you own or have all rights to the content; (b) the content does not infringe any third-party rights; (c) you have obtained consent from all identifiable persons appearing in the content.
3.3 No obligation to use. The Company is not obligated to use, publish, or continue using submitted content. It may stop at any time.
4. Compensation structure
4.1 Performance-based. Compensation is based solely on sales measured through Meta's advertising platform when your content is used in our paid ads.
4.2 Rate. A fixed USD amount per sale attributed to your content, up to a maximum of $4,000 USD per month (2,000 sales).
4.3 Monthly calculation. Sales are calculated monthly. All sales from all your content add to your total monthly sales count.
4.4 Monthly reset. Sales count resets at the start of each calendar month. Sales do not carry over.
4.5 What counts as a conversion. A hook-only clip under 5 seconds without the rest of the video, or b-roll from your video appearing inside another creator's video, does not count as your conversion.
4.6 No guaranteed earnings. Submitting content does not guarantee: selection for advertising; sales generation; minimum compensation; or any compensation.
4.7 Content approval. The Company reserves the right to reject submitted content for any reason. Only explicitly approved content is eligible for compensation.
5. Payment terms
5.1 Payment method. Payment will be made by bank transfer to the account you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details.
5.2 Payment schedule. Payments go out within 10 business days from the start of each month for the previous month's performance, subject to a minimum of 25 sales and receipt of required tax documentation and accurate account details.
5.3 Gift selection. Upon reaching a gift level, you have 5 business days to choose a gift from the relevant level's list, or cash equivalent. Failure to choose within the deadline results in automatic cash payment.
5.4 Tax responsibility. You are solely responsible for all applicable taxes on compensation received, including reporting obligations to the IRS. Payment may be contingent on providing a completed W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (international).
5.5 Per-video earnings limit. Each approved video earns commissions until it reaches 2,000 lifetime sales or 6 months from its first air date — whichever comes first. After that, the video no longer contributes to your monthly total. This limit applies per video; submitting new videos resets the clock and extends your earning potential.
5.6 Payment disputes. Disputes over payment calculations must be submitted in writing within 30 days of receiving the monthly performance report. Failure to dispute within this period constitutes acceptance of the calculation.
6. Gift terms
6.1 Gift delivery. Gifts are sourced and shipped by the Company or a designated partner. Delivery times may vary.
6.2 No liability after delivery. Once a gift is delivered to the address you provided, the Company's obligations end.
6.3 Gift availability. Available gifts are subject to change at any time without notice. If a selected gift is unavailable, an appropriate alternative or cash equivalent will be offered.
6.4 No cash conversion after selection. Once a gift item has been ordered, it cannot be converted to cash. Gift selections are final.
7. Program changes and termination
The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate any aspect of the compensation structure with at least 30 days' written notice. If the program closes, creators will be paid at the same per-sale rate or $100 per approved video — whichever is higher.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
